Introduction

After 30+ year in different CIO positions I am available for digital/IT board advise, fractional CIO and for supervisor board positions.

The combination of my business / financial background with technology insights give me a broad perspective to your problem. Professional experience

Strong insights in corporate governance by more than 10 years active in audit & risk committees, 6 years lecturer at Erasmus non-Executive board program on Digital and IT, guest lecturer at Nyenrode Business University as well as certified by the Hemingway supervisory and non-Executive program.

I am a member of the supervisory boards Smart mobility Ventures (“RvC”), Chamber of Commerce (“RvA”)and Popei (“RvT”) and have been a member of international IT industry customer advisory boards as well as I advised organizations like Dutch Department of Defense and some other smaller sized businesses.

After my study Business Economics at Tilburg University, I started my career at OCE (today Canon) working in Finance roles in several countries and studied Executive master Finance & Control (RC) at the Vrije University.

Next, I started in Finance followed by the IT director role at Cosun (Agri), a similar role at Vendex Food Group (Retail). After that I worked for 10 years at Royal Philips in two different CIO roles in Lighting and in the Philips group. The last role I combined with an executive role in Finance.

Next, I was 10-year global CIO at Nutreco / SHV (Agri, 35 countries), as well as digital leader and a global program director.

Last 4 years I am CIO at Royal BAM (Construction) leading IT/digital transformation into a sustainable new strategy which is now in place.
