Sjourd has gained a Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management from the Breda University of Applied Science and a Master degree in IT Management from the Technical University of Delft. Throughout his career Sjourd has had extensive training in various technology oriented area’s (e.g. Digital Transformation & Innovation at IMD in Laussanne) and leadership development courses (e.g High Performance Leadership and Advanced High Performance Leadership at IMD in Laussanne). Sjourd has successfully completed the ‘Becoming a scale-up Board Member’ program from ScaleUp Nation and the ‘CIO as supervisory board member’ program from CIONET.
Personal Interests
Sjourd is married and has 3 children. He is passionate about sustainability and innovation, and is an active board member of a local Renewable Energy Cooperation (focus on local renewable energy generation). Sjourd is result oriented and likes to lead and develop teams. In his spare time, Sjourd is playing padel, working in his garden or on his house, and spending time with his wife & children.
