Profiel Ton Arrachart
Introduction
Ton has been holding CIO and similar end-responsible positions at various companies related to manufacturing and consumer products in B2B and B2C where driving and delivering innovations and transformations deploying digital capabilities were key.
Professional experience
Ton began his career as an IT Manager at VNU / Roto Smeets where he was involved in digitization of pre and post press manufacturing.
He then worked at Schwarzkopf where digitization of order-to-cash processes were key as well as enabling the merger with Henkel integrating both logistics processes and ERP systems.
After facilitating the SAP roll out in the EMEA region at Monsanto-Seminis he joined Free Record Shop to introduce e-tail and other digital capabilities to establish various newest online businesses in parallel to optimizing retail for all companies and brands within the group.
Via Van Oord DMC, where he directed the global and central IT function after several m&a’s to allow for a real global operating marine engineering company through IT optimization and OT integration, Ton was asked by Sligro Food Group to direct the IT organization as CIO ai and in parallel lead both the acquisition and IT integration of Heinekens’s wholesale division and the carve out of Sligro’s retail division.
More recently Ton joined the PE backed Caldic group as Global director IT to facilitate and kickstart the PE’s ambition in growing and professionalizing Caldic’s business and digital footprint therein for further international expansion.
His previous assignment was to guide and assist Evos, a group of former Vopak entities, in the carve-in of acquired entities to lead and direct integration projects for both IT and OT eg ERP and MES that drive their operations.
Ton joined Fugro in 2022 as global CIO to drive and lead Fugro’s digitalization agenda and transformation program to position the company as the global leading geo-data advisory and services provider.

- Member Vendor Relations Council CIO-platform NL: The independent association of CIOs and IT directors of private and public organizations in the Netherlands
- Chairman Supplier Relations & Cloud Council EuroCIO: Association of CIOs of organizations across Europe
- Member Advisory Board i-Share: Dutch governmental innovative initiative to enable barrier-free sharing of data in the logistics sector
- Member advisory board HBO-i: Association of educational institutions with an IT related curriculum

Education and Credentials
Ton studied Civil Engineering and Business Administration at the Delft University of Technology after completing the Bachelor program for Architecture at University of Applied science in Haarlem. He has completed many management, technology and personal development training courses thereafter including certification for the elite CIO Supervisory Program of the Duisenberg University for Finance & Hemingway Professional Governance in Amsterdam.
Personal Interests
Ton is driven to “always challenge the status-quo”, both professionally and personally, with a flexible, adaptive, pragmatic but decisive attitude to go ‘the extra mile’.
He likes to do outdoor sports such as golf, trail running and skiing.
Ton is married with Monique and lives with his family in The Hague, the Netherlands.
