Menno Vlietstra is a hands on change impact leader. His leadership has been instrumental in shaping Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing and Chemical companies in their Digital Innovation. Over the last 5 years he has been focused on company cloud migrations, leading high-performing multi-disciplinary teams and driving business change with SAP technology
Professional experience
As an Interim CIO for a Private Equity owned international Healthcare Company, he recently led the programs related to the Digital Patient journey, supported the go-live of a key Operational Healthcare Operations System (2700 users) and helped defining the solutions for an Group common Finance, Procurement and Supply Chain solution. he led the global IT Team.
As Program Manager he led the SAP Cloud Migrations for a Global Manufacturing, a Health Care and a Chemical Company the last 5 years. Menno is a frequent speaker on these SAP RISE implementations.
Leadership and Technical Experience
Menno is an experienced business and technology change leader. He delivered programs in record time in heavily regulated industries. He is a program manager who sticks to promise in terms of value delivery, cost and time.
During his career Menno gained experience various technologies supporting most Enterprise domains and more specifically: Business Planning, Product Development, Manufacturing Execution, Customer Service and Client Journey, Supply Chain, Laboratory Information and Enterprise Resource Planning.
He developed an internet platform in the business to consumer and consumer community domain which is currently rolled out to 7 countries.

Menno holds a Master’s Degree, Specialized in Artificial Intelligence from Technical University Twente Netherlands. He concluded the International Executive Program at Instead. Sponsored by Roche Menno did an 18 months on-and-off Leadership of Innovation program at London Business School. Finally for the interim CISO assignment at Urenco he did a private curriculum Cyber Security with Prof. Bernhard Hämmerli from the University of Luzern.

My personal interests are in sailing and kiting, architecture and gardening.
